Great food - spicy and flavorful. Only first world problem - was like a sauna in there even though the air-conditioning was on

the foods are fine but people keep saying their fish head curry is the best ... but for me it just average

Good food as always, love the fish very fresh, the deep fried tofu and the fried chicken, not to forget the chilli crab.

Delicious meal such as kari kepala ikan, udang telur asin, tahu isi, genjer cah teri.. and also not so expensive. Don't take away the fish head tho, a bit fishy if you take it home.

One of the Indonesian restaurant with a good taste and reasonable price. This restaurant is well known for the fish head curry. The chair is hard wood so it's not very comfortable to sit for a long time, and in the peak hours services is very slow.

A really good Chinese style padang restaurant. The famous fish head curry is worth a try. Expect very crowded lunch crowd and dense sitting plan.

Great food, very yummy food, fresh fishes and seafood available too.

Place is ok, good for a group. Taste is delicious, price is quite expensive. Pandan Bistro is a Indonesian Seafood Restaurant. You should try for Lumpia Seafood (bigger then the other), Tahu Kipas, Gurame Bakar. They have a good hospitality service. Gurame Goreng Kering is taste delicious too. Kepiting Saos Padang need an improvement for the taste but still ok. Actually we asked for a very spicy Saos Padang but we couldn't feel it. The glass for the hot tea and ice tea is the same. Actually they should give a bigger glass for ice tea like the other branch.

'Gulai Kepala Ikan' is the most favorite menu, You can share it for 3-5 person. And try 'Tahu Kipas' too 4 pcs/ portion.

Food is great but this place is always crowded in every weekend and holiday. Try the Tahu Isi, fried chicken, and Kepala Ikan.

Super delicious local food. They have to ways of ordering, from menu or from fast serve counter. The Gulai Kepala Ikan (fish head curry), Tahu Kipas (stuffed fried tofu), Ayam Mangga (Manggo fried chicken) are some of my faves. Always busy, arriving during peak hours may have to wait a litle bit.

Some of the foods here are great, while others are not even satisfactory. Kinda balances it out, tbh. Same goes for the waiters, while some responds fat and greatly, some others shows disappointing results. The place is rather large and is good for groups.

Great food espeacially the cha papaya flowers. Fish head curry is abselutely tasty.

The best Indonesian food in Pluit and Muara Karang area, the price reasonable. The fishhead curry is the must try menu here.

The owner this place is daughter of Pondok Laguna Restaurant in batu tulis, same like her mother the best in here is head fish curry and tahu kipas ( based on many reviewer ) but for me the best taste in here is chicken rendang and teri cabe hijau. I always order nasi sayur which is you can pick base on your favorable. Rarely eat in here because to crowded and glasses for tea is tiny and not refillable. Prefer to order nasi sayur and eat at my home with refillable drink and watch some movie.

Food is excellent. If you judge the food alone. This place is definately a 5star. But other things considered a 3 is fair as ice tea is non refillable which is rather a rip off.

Pretty good but Pondok Laguna at Batu Ceper area is still better. I don't know if it's only me but my family always complain about being extremely thirsty for hours after eating here, probably they use a lot of MSG on their food??

well, the fish was not very fresh, the prawn tauco was nice, the urap was ok, but the price was too high

Sunda-nese restaurant that has been here for many years. The dishes are good and can be a little spicy. The crab and the prawn are highly recommended. The clams tasted good but we have many missing meat from the clams. The venue is big so perfect for small gatherings.Food - 8Service - 7Vibe - 7Price - $$$

The place is my family's favourite as it suites our taste. The Indonesian food here are fantastic. The highlight would be its tahu kipas, which I feel that it had perfected its craft (almost as delicious as the coveted Laguna Restaurant's one).Its quick bites are delicious, such as: green chilli salted fish and cassava leaves curry. Those two are definitely rice magnets as the salted fish are very salty n spicy at the same time. Those who like fried carp would enjoy dining here, because it is deep fried to the right crispiness, unfortunately there was only once that the fish tasted like mud.The service is not always with a smile, but quick and efficient.

Just know that we drove an hour to get here from Jakarta Selatan! Yes, it's that good! Unless you can get a reservation, come for brunch or late lunch. The restaurant looks like a renovated home, and from the covers served, they probably never had time to upgrade. But it's clean and comfortable, and air conditioned, which is a boon in the Jakarta heat and humidity, especially when having spicy food. Now about the food: the fish head curry and tahu kipas are not to be missed. Apart from the a la carte menu, we also usually get a few sides from the (not self service) buffet. Daun singkong is amazing. Finally, get an es campur, it's a nice, refreshing way to seal the meal.

From the outside, the restaurant does not actually look presentable. When I was there, the signboard over the front door was actually missing. But then, who would actually bother of what the restaurant looks like when the food they serve is fantastically delicious?They have pre-cooked dishes typical of the famous Nasi Padang that you would find in Jakarta. I was however made to understand that their dishes are typical of those found in Madano, Northern Sulawesi.I tucked into only their pre-cooked dishes and found that they were all tasty and delicious. Nothing to be disappointed with their dishes. Would definitely be back for more. Overall, the restaurant is clean and the staff are courteous.

They have a very good fish head curry, a must try for. Fish head curry lover. Their tahu kipas is divine, a must order dish if you come here. They have a ready to serve dish and cook by order dish. Place usually crowded and hectic, place is old but quite well maintained. Parking can be a bit tricky in busy hour.

It was good 5 years ago but not anymore, quality is at best edible, nothing that one would miss.

Good food, professionally managed, price worthy and spacious parking space. Must try their head fish curry, stir fry watercress and tahu kipas. Its so delicious. Most of the menu are asian style, they also provide counter like warteg, you can choose the dishes and took it to your table or takeaway. Suitable if you want to have a quick meal

Pretty good seafood for it's price, however, the gurame goreng was a bit too dry for my taste.
